DAY 5 – LORD CAUSE THE SEED OF WISDOM WITHIN ME TO GROW SO THAT I AM FULL OF IT AND GIVE ME A MOUTH OF WISDOM THAT CANNOT BE RESISTED

WEEK 2 – THE SUPPLY OF THE SPIRIT

Please take a few minutes to read the text and meditate the scripture(s) below before praying using the prayer focus provided. To conclude today’s challenge, please remember to post a prayer in the comments section below.

Rev Kayode Tadese

It is the plan of God that the wisdom that is resident in our spirit being, flows out of our natural being in such a way that our lives are an expression, continually, of that wisdom.

Luke chapter 21, verse 14 and 15 (Amplified Bible) says,

Resolve and settle it in your minds not to meditate and prepare beforehand how you are to make your defense and how you will answer. For I [Myself] will give you a mouth and such utterance and wisdom that all of your foes combined will be unable to stand against or refute.

Some of us just have a seed of wisdom and that seed has not grown in years. In all our encounters, our participation and our experience in the kingdom of God, that seed of wisdom has not grown. Well, then we couldn’t be described as people full of wisdom.

In order for us to be described as people full of the wisdom of God, it means that the seed of wisdom has grown, has increased and has multiplied to the point where we are full of it. We’re not just full of it and it’s hidden and stowed away in our spirit. No, we are full of it, and it is being expressed in our natural lives and people can see it. The fact that people can see it is why they say, “Oh, he is full of the wisdom of God.”

Let’s read Acts 6:8-10 (KJV) And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. 9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. 10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

I just love that they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spoke. That’s exactly what the Lord said in Luke 21. “I will give you a mouth and wisdom all of your adversaries will not be able to resist it. “That’s exactly what’s happening with Stephen.

The wisdom of God made him significant. The wisdom of God separated him. The wisdom of God distinguished him. The wisdom of God made him impossible to be stopped. The wisdom of God appointed him to build. The wisdom of God set him apart from every other person, the wisdom of God was expressed through his mouth, through his natural life, to the point where all of his enemies could not gainsay and they could not resist that wisdom by which he spoke.

Well, that’s what will happen to you!

Mark 4:30-32 (KJV)
30
And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
31
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
32
But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

Luke 21:15 (AMPC)
15
For I [Myself] will give you a mouth and such utterance and wisdom that all of your foes combined will be unable to stand against or refute.

Acts 6:8-10 (KJV)
8
And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
9
Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.
10
And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

Acts 6:10 (AMPC)
10
But they were not able to resist the intelligence and the wisdom and [the inspiration of] the Spirit with which and by Whom he spoke.

PRAY:

  1. Lord, cause your seed of wisdom that is within me to grow such that I am full of the Wisdom of God and let it be expressed in my natural life so people can see it
  1. Lord just like Stephen, let Your wisdom make me significant. Let Your wisdom separate me.  Let Your wisdom distinguish me.  Let Your wisdom make me impossible to resist.  Let Your wisdom appoint me and let Your wisdom set me apart from every other person.
  1. Lord, help me to express your wisdom fully so that the world will be unable to resist the intelligence and wisdom and the inspiration of the Spirit by which I speak.

MAKE THIS CONFESSION OF FAITH: I am a vessel of God filled not only with the seed of wisdom, but filled with the spirit of wisdom. That seed that was sown in me, in my spirit when I came into Christ, continues to grow. It is growing even now. As I apply myself, as I yield myself to diligently apply the word of God to my life. The wisdom of God that is resident in my spirit being will become expressed through my natural life, to the point where principalities and powers and the rulers of the universe will not be able to resist it in the name of Jesus, Amen.
