Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

June 14: The Kingdom of God System

My word, which comes from my mouth, is like the rain and snow. It will not come back to me without results. It will accomplish whatever I want and achieve whatever I send it to do.

Isaiah 55:11

Read:  Romans 12:2; Isaiah 55:6-13

When the Bible says, “do not conform to the standards of this world,” it suggests to us that the world has its own way of doing things. Conform means to comply with the current customs and modes and standards of a certain system. We must come to understand that God has His Kingdom and this Kingdom has its own peculiar forms, methods, principles and standards.  So does the world. The world system guarantees what Adam inherited: Pain, shame, struggle, lack, insufficiency or dubious wealth. God’s system on the other hand, guarantees all the 7 entitlements we mentioned yesterday.  Unfortunately, most of us accept Jesus as our savior and carry on living as though we belong in the world’s system. To live in God’s best, we must CHOOSE to understand God’s way so that the victory Jesus obtained for us does not go to waste. He paid too much for us to keep living in pain, abject poverty and confusion. We must aspire to fully understand God’s principles of wealth, practice them, and step into God’s untold wealth. The ways of God are found in His Word. In Isaiah 55:11, God guarantees that any action based on His Word would succeed. Before we gave our lives to Christ, we had a thought system based on that of the world. Now God expects us to replace this thought system with His. He clearly tells us, “We do not think alike; replace your thought system with Mine!” Regarding wealth, we must DELIBERATELY start to learn God’s principle of acquiring and increasing wealth.  Then we will prosper; and we would have proved to the world that God’s ways work, by our unsurpassed wealth. God’s ways will produce wealth for you; clean wealth; the sort you have and can still sleep at night! This devotional will introduce you to some of these principles. Are you ready? Then let’s go!
