“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10
Read: John 10:1-10
Yesterday we discussed the blessing of peace which was in the Garden of Eden. It is important that you and I take inventory of the blessings made available by God to His children in the garden because He has covenanted to release those same blessings in our lives today. Remember that the “Zoe” life of God was also in that garden. Adam and Eve were made in the likeness of God and were given the same wisdom, authority, dominion, and more abundant life that God Himself had. That’s why Adam was able to name those animals without any prior education. He had the “Zoe” life in him. But the serpent stole that life from him and he became separated from God. And death ruled on the earth until Jesus came to pay the price for man’s redemption. Now because of Jesus’ sacrifice, that “Zoe” or ‘more abundant life’ which Adam lost has been restored. So go ahead and enjoy this more than enough life today and be thankful for it!
