Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

September 10: Do You Know Your Enemy?

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” II Corinthians 10:4

Read : Luke 4:1-15; II Corinthians 10:2-6

If you are a boxer in the ring fighting a very strong enemy but have a blindfold on, you are sure to lose no matter how strong you are. That is one of the reasons why a lot of believers lose their battles. Most of us don’t know who our real enemy is. Many of us expend all our energy in fighting people. But people are not our enemy. Neither is God. Isn’t it unfortunate that many of us blame God for things that don’t go right in our lives? Beloved, Satan is the thief, and he is the enemy! Granted, he sometimes uses people who are close to us. And sometimes he uses circumstances in attacking us, but we must never lose sight of the fact that Satan is our real enemy. He uses our flesh too, and then he’ll try to put us in condemnation. But the Word of God tells us we are more than conquerors. If you are in a battle today, I prophesy to you that you are a winner in Jesus Name. So take your victory and enforce it in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
