?”Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, Oh Lord, My Strength and Redeemer”???Psalm 19:14

Today, I want us to go back and look again at the experience of Joseph when he first declared his dreams to his brethren. Notice that in vs. 8 of our reading, Joseph?s brothers hated him not just for his dreams but also for his words. It was bad enough that he had a dream in which he was making great progress in life. But now he is blabbing about it, and words are so powerful, especially when they line up with God?s plans and purposes. Our words are so important and they need to give validation to our dreams and not to our present natural circumstances. The Bible says our present circumstances are temporal and subject to change. So why talk about that? Why not talk about what God is doing that will be permanent in your life? Do you know your words carry a lot of weight in the supernatural world? Do you know that even the angels of God are committed to carrying out the words that you speak? You are either ensnared or elevated by the words of your mouth. The point of your elevation in life is the point at which you give validation to what is inside your spirit. The points at which your words make contact or are in agreement with the words of your maker are the points of your elevation in life. Unfortunately, however, the points at which your words agree with those of your adversary are the points of your demotion. And many of us got into holes in the past because we empowered the adversary with our negative confessions rather than because the devil was so strong as to have pushed us there. Jesus is the High priest of our confession; so let?s agree with Him so we can mount up with wings and step higher in life. I see you riding higher and higher today!
