Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

July 27: Speak the Language of Faith

“By faith, we see the world called into existence by God’s word, what we see created by what we don’t see.” Hebrews 11:3 (MSG)

Read : Exodus 15:11; 1 John 5:14; Revelations 3:18

The famous proverb says, “Seeing is believing.” In spiritual things this is absolutely true. We think in pictures. What you have conceived in your mind is what your reality becomes. You say what you already see in your mind. This is the essence of faith. The Greek word “pistis” is translated faith; and it means conviction. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Evidence is from the word “videre,” which meansto see.’ Evidence is what you can clearly see. What do you see? It is easy to tell what you see because your mouth gives you away. You are going to blab it out when your guard is down. To talk the faith talk, see what God sees about your giant or mountain. So, take time to receive sight from God’s word every day. When you see like God, you will have no choice but to talk like God. Let what you see start to flow from your mouth, irrespective of the physical realities; for everything in the physical realm is subject to change.
