Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

July 28: The Unsearchable Riches of Christ

“By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know …how rich His glorious inheritance in the saints…”- Ephesians 1:18 (AMP)

Read : Ephesians 3:8; Philippians 4:19

The Kingdom of God, which is the covenant inheritance of every born again child of God, is like a vault where treasures are kept with a secret combination key. In that vault lies all the blessings promised man by God. This ‘vault’ is described many times in the New Testament as, “the unsearchable riches of Christ’ or ‘Christ’s riches in glory”  or “true riches” (Luke 16:11). It includes the blessings of spiritual soundness, dominion and authority, wealth, health, abundant life, longevity, peace, joy, a fulfilled destiny, etc. One of the saints of old that enjoyed the benefits of this vault was Abraham. That great man lived a very blessed and prosperous life and yet remained in good standing with God all of his days. Let me ask you, child of God, do you have a revelation of this wealth that is available to you in Christ? Most believers don’t. That’s why Paul prayed the prayer in Ephesians 1:18 for the saints daily. Abraham had this revelation. And so did Moses. That realization prompted him to refuse the transient treasures of Egypt and lay hold of the true riches of God in the covenant. Pray that your eyes will be opened to this reality today. Then begin to walk like it is so!
