“For if these things be in you and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ” – II Peter 1: 8
Read: Psalms 92:12-14; II Peter 1:4-8
While it is important that we stay vitally connected to Christ, we must get on an active search for revelation knowledge concerning the will of God for our lives and the areas where he has arranged for us to be fruitful. Apostle Peter said we need to keep on adding to our lives spiritual virtue through knowledge of God’s Word. King David said that when the righteous are planted in the house of the Lord, they are bound to flourish in the courts of our God. Why? Because in the House of the Lord, we are taught His ways and we walk in His paths. Child of God, you will only be fruitful to the extent that you are knowledgeable. Let me put it simply in this way – zero knowledge = zero fruits; little knowledge = little fruit; great knowledge = great fruit. I challenge you to become radical in your quest for knowledge and wisdom. I release you from every religious and ‘sleepy’ spirit in Jesus’ name. I see God distinguishing you through knowledge.
