Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

Day 11: Arise and Shine!

Genesis 1:3, 4, 14-16; Isaiah 60:1-3; Matthew 16:13-19

‘Arise shine for thy light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you….and His glory shall be seen upon you…..’Is 60: 1-3

Jesus taught in Luke 8:10 that there are keys given us by God to help us understand the mysteries (or hidden secrets and operations) of the Kingdom. One of those keys is light. Light is a powerful force, and it was the first thing created by God. God saw that it was good after He had created the light. Jesus introduced Himself as the Light that lights every man’s life.  Light is the first miracle we must embrace if we want to move from ‘without form and void’ to ‘beautiful’ and ‘very good’ (Gen 1:31.) Jesus declared to Peter that flesh and blood did not reveal who He was, but the Spirit of God’s light. When the ‘Ruach’ of God breaths upon you, His light will pierce through every darkness and cause supernatural transformation in every situation of your life. David said (Psalms 18:28 & 29) when the Lord lights your candle and illuminates your darkness, you receive supernatural empowerment to run through a troop and leap over walls! I see you running through a troop today! So, arise and shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you!

Prayer & Confession:

“Father, I thank You for Your glory that is risen upon me. I declare that my light is come, and I will shine like the stars. Nations and peoples will come to the brightness of my shinning in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
