“No sloppy living for me. I’m staying alert and in top condition. I’m not going to get caught napping, telling everyone about it and then missing out.” I Corinthians 9:26, 27(MSG)

Grace is an endowment from God given to every human being to help them perform their life assignment with ease. It is an enablement of the Holy Spirit that removes struggles from our lives. The Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ increased in grace and wisdom. So you already have grace for your assignment. Whatever it is you were created to be and do, God has endowed you with the required ability necessary to succeed. When you find your niche in life, and have the right attitude, grace guarantees your promotion. However, grace never works alone. We must have discipline so grace isn’t powerless. We all have ‘destiny destroyers’ that seek to distract and derail us. It is only through the power of discipline that we are protected. A lack of discipline in any area of life can cut short your destiny. And Samson is a perfect illustration of this. He was a man anointed from birth. However, in spite of the grace on his life, he lived carelessly and had his assignment aborted. I am sure you have heard of stories of people with great potential, who had everything needed for success, blessed with many opportunities in life, but who fell short of reaching their prime. Judas is another great example. He was one of the 12 privileged men who walked with the Lord. He was called like the others, anointed, authorized, and blessed with great opportunities. However, he blew it because of his lack of discipline. He couldn’t say no to greed and lust for money, and that destroyed his destiny. I believe you will make it in Jesus Name. So you need to stand against the peculiar destiny destroyers on your own path. Don’t allow things like laziness, procrastination, food, lack of submission, lust, materialism, timidity wastefulness etc cut your destiny short. It all starts with a decision. Then determine to keep yourself within boundaries. God’s grace will distinguish you, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
