Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

April 11: Your God-Given Assignment

Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am Psalms 39:4

Read: Psalms 139:1-18; Ecclesiastes 5:12-19

Every human being was created with a peculiar destiny. God had a purpose in mind for creating you. Do you believe that? Or do you feel like you just happened to be here? One of the secrets to living a life of fulfillment is an understanding of one’s God-given assignment. Many years ago, the Lord spoke a phrase into my spirit which impacted me a lot. He said, “You are not an accident. You are a miracle going somewhere to happen!” It is pretty sad that a lot of people don’t think of themselves that way. Many people think that they are an accident because there was no plan for their birth. And a lot of parents destroy the confidence of their kids by telling them they were a mistake, or by acting as though their lives would have been better off without those kids being around them. Even if your parents or somebody else acted that way to you, you must refuse to accept that because it’s a lie! God created you and He did for an eternal purpose. You were created to solve a problem on earth. You contain solutions. I want you to say that with me today, “I contain solutions. I am the answer to some difficulty. I am designed and sent by God to the earth to achieve a purpose”. I want you to see yourself in that light, because that’s how God sees you. It is important that you begin to pay attention to your assignment because that is the key to your joy and reward. The Bible says, “To rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.” I welcome you to a season of destiny today. This is your season for rich rewards and fulfillment. So step with me into destiny. You will become all you were destined to be, in Jesus Name. Amen.
