I Chronicles 29:1-9
“Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.” (Proverbs 3:9-10, NLT)
Honor God with your first and your best, and He will bless you with the highest blessings that heaven has to offer. God deserves the best of everything in our lives. God deserves the best, most precious, most modern, most contemporary, most valuable gifts and equipment the world has. When we give the Lord that place in our lives, we honor Him. I remember a gentleman several years ago who had an old beat-up truck that was becoming very expensive for him to maintain. This truck was plagued with rust, and most of the operating controls inside were no longer functional. He didn’t want to use the old truck for his family anymore, so he bought a brand-new, modern one. Then he called me excitedly and said he would like to donate his truck to the ministry. As you can imagine, I was shocked to discover that what we were getting was the rust-ridden, broken down, good-for-nothing truck that did not even have any shock-absorbers! Friends, God deserves our best. Commit to giving Him your best today, so He can give you the best of heaven.
Prayer: Lord, you can have the best of all I have. It came from you, in the first place. My best is yours!
