“According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body… ” – Philippians 1:20

The last Key to restoration we are discussing in this devotional is the key of a positive expectation. You need to understand that God has a plan for you to have a better tomorrow. No matter where you are today, there is a better place for you in God. But you can not step into any blessing in your future if you don’t expect to. In Joel 2:26 & 27, God emphasizes that His people will never be put to shame. But Apostle Paul tells us in Philippians 1:20 that it is only when we have earnest expectation that we don’t suffer shame. You enhance what God wants to do in your life when you have a positive expectation for it. If your dream is going through a turbulent season, keep the dream alive through your expectation. Even Job said there was hope for a tree if it is cut down, if there is a scent of water around it. Your expectation is like water to a plant. That is what keeps everything alive and sustains it to maturity. Be expectant today and speak words of hope. Restoration is guaranteed for you! Hallelujah!
