“And have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the world to come”
– Hebrews 6:5
Read: Acts 20:32; Proverbs 3:1-4; Hebrews 1:1-3
The Word of God can be rightly described as ‘good’ because God is a good God and His Word can only be good. This good Word of God opens up our lives to the ‘powers of the world to come’ while we are still down here! In Acts 20:32, Apostle Paul describes it as the Word of God’s grace or favor which is capable of building us up and granting us our rightful inheritance among God’s people. That means there is an inheritance that has been apportioned to us by God and only His Word can place us in the realm where that inheritance can be made manifest. There are many sides to this inheritance and we must be aggressive about possessing them all: the Word of God creates and maintains blessings in our lives; it elevates us, enlightens us, and brings quick deliverance when we are in the pits of life. The Word also imparts favor, authority, wealth, and longevity. Reach out right now and possess all that God’s word is dishing out to you today! It’s all yours in Jesus’ name. Amen
