“And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it?.or absorbed it?” John1:5(AMP)
Read:? Philippians 3:8-15; Acts 22:1-19
Beloved, as you walk with God, obeying His instructions daily, He has planned many specific and unique blessings to flow into your life. The writer of Proverbs says your ?light? will shine brighter and brighter until the perfect day comes. That means there are dimensions of glory that will be manifested in your life as you walk on the paths of destiny. The Bible says, ?In Him was life and that life was the light of men.? So we can say that as you abide in Christ and receive more and more of His life, your light will shine brighter and brighter.? However, there are a few things that were in place in the life of Apostle Paul that ensured that the first light he saw in his salvation encounter on the way to Damascus was not the only light that shone in his life. The first was that he made Jesus his Lord. He gave the Lord full access to direct and change every area of his life without resisting Him. Secondly, he always sought divine guidance rather than just assume that whatever he did was okay. On many occasions in his life, he would ask, ?what do I do now, Lord?? and the Lord would give him specific instructions to follow. Do you do the same? Then he lived a life of total yieldedness and surrender. He submitted himself to a Godly shepherd and became accountable to the leaders of the early church. Are you under the covering of a local church leadership or are you a ?lone ranger?? Finally, he began a diligent pursuit of his calling and destiny; and determined to press for the mark of God?s high calling in Christ. Beloved, if you will do these things, your light will shine brighter and brighter until the perfect day, in Jesus Name.
