And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him] – Genesis 5:24 (AMP)
Read: Genesis 5:21-24
You may have read or heard the story of Enoch. There were two things that made his life story very powerful: One was his habitual fellowship with God, and the other was his full, complete life. These two things were connected. If you practice habitual fellowship with God, you will fulfill your days, and enjoy a glorious destiny. Enoch made sure that his own foremost habit in life was to cultivate fellowship and communion with God. He wasn’t fellowshipping with God once or twice a week; he was ‘practicing’ God’s presence twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. Make up your mind today to raise the level of your devotion to God in this new season. Enoch lived for 365 years and his son Methuselah lived the longest on the earth. How would you like to enjoy God’s blessings on the earth, live a complete and full life, and then be received into Heaven with great honor? That was what Enoch experienced because he made habitual fellowship with God a priority. Make up your mind to do the same thing starting today, and enjoy a new quality of life.
