When you take a step toward God, He also takes a step toward you. He has already done everything He needs to do to make it easy for us to come unto Him. When we acknowledge the work of His grace in our lives, and honor Him for it, He blesses us with His presence and glory. And you know beloved, there are a number of practical things we can do to take steps toward God:
- Spend some time with Him every day.
- Make His Word and prayer priorities of your life.
- Commit to worshipping Him weekly in your place of worship.
- Give of your talents and finances to support the work of His kingdom.
The more sacrifices we make in getting close to God, the easier He makes your life by creating opportunities for you that others may not have. When Moses took steps beyond the rest of the people in approaching God’s tabernacle, God came down to speak with Him as a friend. He will do the same in your life if you’ll draw close to Him today. Invite Him to be a part of all you do now.
