Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

January 15: Blessed Because of His Presence

For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. – Psalms 84:11 (AMP)

Read:  Psalms 84:4-7, 11-12

The blessings that you and I need in life are found only in God. And if we want to enjoy those blessings, we must know how to get into God’s presence daily and minister to Him. Our strength is in the presence of the Lord. I often hear people say, “I am burning out,” or “Oh! This is too much for me. I feel suicidal,” etc. This happens because folks are shutting themselves out of God’s presence and not fellowshipping with Him as they should. I have never known any man or woman who walked closely with the presence of God, and didn’t have God’s blessings flowing in their lives. The Bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength, and in the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy. Difficult circumstances will come to every person in life, but if we commit to abiding in God’s presence daily, the constant release of strength that we need to make it, will flow into our lives. Make up your mind to continually appear before God in ‘Zion,’ and you will go from glory to glory, increasing in strength and power for victory.
