“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and addeth no sorrow with it” – Proverbs 10:22

It is amazing how many definitions of success the world has created. From the citadels of leaning to Hollywood; from religion to politics; from the field of sports to Wall Street; the many faces of success can be misleading and confusing! However, the Bible declares that God is the only source of true success. When God appeared to Jacob at Bethel, He gave him a clear picture of what true success is: It must be given by God and line up with His character; it must bless others and outlast the bearer; it must place a higher value on investing in God?s kingdom than on earthly stocks and shares.? As far as Heaven is concerned, true success is an all-round blessing from God that secures prosperity in every area of life. The rich fool in Luke 12:16-21 was a ?success? in his own eyes and in the eyes of the world around him. He may have been a household name in his time. But God called him a fool. His ?success? had no eternal value and neither did his soul! I see God decorating you with true success today. Begin to esteem your covenant relationship with Him higher than all others. Commit to investing in a major Kingdom project.
