“The men of the city said to Elisha, “Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.”- II Kings 2:19 (NIV)

No matter where you are in your pursuits in life today, I want you to know that God has better for you. There is always a higher place in God for you and I. So don?t get complacent or sit back. Keep on growing; keep on pressing; keep on believing; keep on rising. In Deuteronomy 32:9-12, the Bible compares God to an eagle rising up with her young ones, causing them to ride on the high places of the earth. Many people?s lives are however, not like this: Many are well positioned but still unproductive. This is the story of countless millions around the world. Everywhere we turn, we see evidence of fruitlessness: Beautiful healthy women unable to have children; people with good college degrees but totally unproductive lives; superstars with worthless marriages, etc. Most people have an aspect of fruitlessness in their lives.
Maybe you are in one of these mystifying situations. You realize everything you need is present, yet you have no fruit to show for it. You do not have to accept this as God?s will. Hannah refused to be Barren, Jabez refused ?smallness.? Jacob refused to let go until God blessed him. Whatever you accept and settle for is what you end up with. You will enjoy better in Jesus? Name. Amen.
