“…in Thy presence, there is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” – Psalms 16: 11
Read: Revelations 21:1-11
Do you have a hope beyond the grave? There is a glory to be revealed over every believer, and it’s not just down here but up in Heaven as well. Do you know why a lot of Christians can’t relate with Heaven? I believe it’s because religion suggests Heaven is an abstract place, where we grow wings and fly around aimlessly, bumping into one another and blowing a trumpet everyday. But there’s more to Heaven than wings and trumpets. It’s a place of glory where we are rewarded and blessed for every good work we do for the Lord here on earth. David describes it as a place of fullness of joy and pleasures forever more. It’s a place of rest and peace from all the toiling and struggling of the earth. Are you getting ready for Heaven? Are you living right? Is your present life meaningful or is it all about instant gratification? As Christians we must not live like people who have no hope. Commit to living with a sense of purpose today. Our destination is God and our journey ought to reflect that reality. Prepare for your eternal destination today.
