Genesis 2: 6, 7; 2 Kings 2:25-37; Ezekiel 37:1-14; John 6:63; John 5:26-28
‘…He hath spoken unto me….in all these things is the life of my spirit…so wilt thou recover me and make me to live…’ – Is 38:15, 16
The Holy Spirit is the Breath of God. He is the ‘Ruach’ of God that will take every believer to the ‘glory-land’ of God’s promises. There is no life anywhere without that Breath. That same Breath is carried in God’s Word. Regardless of how dead a situation or person is, when the Breath of God alights from the Word upon it, life returns. It was the words spoken by Jesus that brought Lazarus back to life after four days of being dead. The dry bones in Ezekiel’s valley revived into a great army when he spoke words upon them. The Bible tells us (Romans 8:11) that since the same Spirit that raised Christ up from the dead dwells in us, He will give life to every part of our being and subdue the power of earthly corruption that rages against every inhabitant of the world. Glory to God! Look around you today: Are there dead ‘bones’ in your life? The Breath of God in the words the Holy Spirit quickens in your heart can revive them. When King Hezekiah was dying, God’s word revived him. The prophet Elisha breathed into a dead child and the child revived. That Breath of God is available to you today. First develop an intimate relationship with that Breath (the Holy Spirit). Allow Him to quicken the Carrier of that Breath (God’s Words) in your heart. When you speak those words, life will return to every dead situation around you. Do you receive that? I receive it for you in Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen.
Prayer & Confession:
Precious Holy Spirit, You are the Breath of God. I welcome you into every area of my life today. Come and quicken God’s Words in my heart. Help me revive every dead blessing in my life in Jesus’ Name. Amen
