“…I…. cease not …making mention of you in my prayers…that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ…may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation…that you may know.. ” – Ephesians 1: 15, 16, 17
Read: Daniel 2:13-23; Isaiah 58:6, 8-11; Ephesians 1:16-18; II Timothy 2:15
There is a beautiful song we love to sing that says, “Open the eyes of my heart Lord…I want to see You…To see You high and lifted up…shining in the light of Your glory…Pour out Your power and love …” Aren’t those words powerful?! Go ahead and pray them today. Ask God to fill you with His glory. Ask Him to fill you with His light today. When Daniel and his friends needed the light of God on a situation, they separated themselves unto God in prayer. When we take time out to fast and pray, our light will break forth as the morning and our restoration will appear speedily. Fasting and praying, coupled with acquiring knowledge both from the Word of God and other relevant sources will keep us from the shame of ignorance. Do you have a fasting and prayer schedule or are you too busy to make time for things like that? Please do not feel condemned by what you are reading. But it is important for you to realize that the next level God has for you can only be attained by you availing yourself of His presence. It is easier to hear God’s instructions and receive wisdom and enlightenment from Him when we deny our flesh on a regular basis, and fast. Our flesh is not saved and it will keep us in darkness if we indulge it. Make time out to fast and pray at least once a week. Your eyes of understanding are being opened now and I see you walking in dominion.
