Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

August 30: Mounting Up With Wings

“He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights.”  – Psalms 18:33 (NIV)

Read: Psalms 18:1-50; Deuteronomy 32:13; Habakkuk 3:19

You need to make a decision: You will either fly or crawl in life; you will either rule or be ruled; you will either master your challenges or your challenges will master you. Really, the choice is yours. But it is important that you realize God has better for you than you have ever enjoyed in your life. He’s got a life of dominion and a destiny of victory and glory for you. I have made up my mind: I am going up and not down; I am the victor, not the victim; I am the head, not the tail! Hallelujah! God’s Word will be performed in my life. I will not be an object of mockery or shame in my generation. Most terrestrial creatures fall into 2 categories: Those that crawl, and those that tread upon the high places. Chickens scratch in the dust, eagles soar to the heights. Lizards crawl in low places, the deer leaps on the high places and the Lion prowls around in majesty. People also fall in 2 categories: Those that walk in low places; oppressed, fearful, with feet covered in dust and heads bowed low, cowering before situations and their enemies. Then there are those that walk upon the high places. They walk as kings and princes. They have beautiful feet and dwell in palaces. If you are seated at the right hand of the Father with Christ Jesus, then you are destined for the latter! It is time to take your rightful place and mount up with wings as the eagle. The Bible says you will run and never be weary; you will walk and never faint. Prophesy to yourself today. Say, “I am mounting up with wings as the Eagle; I am replenishing my strength; I am going up and not down; I am flying and not crawling.” Hallelujah!
