“So teach us to number our days so that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.“Isaiah 49:1, 3

Just as it is important for us to understand that we were created by God for an eternal assignment, it is also important to understand that God has assigned the path that will lead us to fulfilling that assignment. We all have a God-given destiny, which is a course or path in life that includes the destination that we seek at life’s end, and our own faith-filled journey toward that destination. Let me ask you today: Do you know your destination? Are you confident that you are walking the right path that will lead to that destination? The Bible says there’s a way that seems right to a man but the end is the way of destruction. Many times, God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Several years ago, we were on a journey to a certain destination. Unfortunately, I made some wrong turns and got stuck in traffic. Then we got attacked by some hoodlums and lost valuable possessions. Although God kept us and we finally arrived at our destination, we had lost some time, comfort, and valuable goods on the journey because we lost our way. That happens to many people on their life journey. Even though they finally arrive, their journey is filled with painful experiences and losses that they did not need to suffer at all. If you feel like that describes your experience, I want to prophesy to you today that God will restore to you the years lost, and make a way to establish you in your destiny. Remember that the devil is a thief but our God is a Restorer! May your paths be smooth and your life fulfilled, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
