“Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it…” – Psalms 127:1
Everything that God builds is perfect. When He starts a thing, He always finishes it. He is never involved in uncompleted projects, and whatever He builds lasts forever. Look at the Creation story in the book of Genesis. When God started, the earth was ‘without form and void’ and darkness was everywhere. A ‘soup of nothingness,’ ‘bottomless emptiness’ and ‘inky darkness’ are some of the words a popular version of the Bible uses to describe what God started with. But when He finished, everything was ‘very good’, beautiful, pleasant, lovely, amazing, awesome, and most desirable. That is what God always ends up with regardless of where He starts. I dare say today that God is building something amazing in your life! No matter where your journey began and how your story started, when God is done with you, ‘very good’, beautiful, pleasant, lovely, most desirable, amazing, awesome will be how people will describe what He has done in you! Amen! And He is going to do it by using the key ingredient of Wisdom. That was the foundation that God used in creating and forming the earth and everything else He had built from the beginning. That means if you are devoid of this key ingredient, God is limited in what He can build in your life. The plan already exists for an amazing life, but that plan won’t produce anything noteworthy without the key ingredient of wisdom. The writer of the Proverbs tells us wisdom is sweet and good like honey in the honeycomb. And he commands us to eat it every day because it will guarantee our expectations in life. He also tells us this wisdom is too high for a fool. Just like you, I was a fool once upon a time! But praise God for wisdom, we are fools no more! Let’s open our mouths again and feast on more wisdom today, so God can build something amazing through our lives! Amen!
Prayer: Thank you, Father, for building something beautiful and amazing in my life through your wisdom. Thank you for your patience and love. I know you are not done with me yet. Glory is coming out of my life. Beauty is manifesting in my story. I give thee praise Lord. In Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!
