‘And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left’ – Isa 30:21
Read: Isaiah 30:15-21, 29-31
Going up to God’s mountain and practicing His presence will demand something from you. It won’t be as easy as sitting in front of the television set and flipping channels. For one, Satan will try to stop you. And he will use every kind of instrument he can find, including people that are close to you. But the Holy Spirit will help you in your pursuit of God. Remember that God loves to have you to Himself, too (John 4:24). But you must be willing to pay the price: you must aspire for something different; you must become excited about being with God by yourself; you must be excited about shutting out others and surrounding yourself with media bearing only God’s voice (teaching tapes, worship and praise music, a good study Bible, a journal to write etc). Finally, you must be willing to open your heart and be completely transparent with God, holding nothing back. Find a place outside of your home if possible. Get ready for a new dimension in your walk with God. You are going where you’ve never gone before. And it’s a good place! Hallelujah!
