Friends, the blessings of God are not automatic. God operates by laws and He can not be mocked. The seeds we sow ultimately determine the harvests we reap. There is no sane farmer who sows orange seeds, hoping to reap apples. There are certain blessings in life packaged for people who live by the principle of excellence. In the Old Testament, we know Reuben, even though the first son of Jacob, did not receive the birthright from his father because he was not excellent. Joseph fulfilled the law of excellence and was blessed with the birthright. However, his descendants went astray, and God handed the birthright to the House of Judah and David. God can not be mocked and He has no grandchildren. We all must fulfill His requirements to enjoy His blessings. I see you operating in the spirit of excellence in every area of life, and I see you blessed with the ‘birthright’ of honor, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Excellence is doing what is right, when it is right, in a way that is right, because it is right in God’s sight. That is a long definition, but it is powerful. Stop here and repeat it to yourself now. Quit making excuses for failure. That is not an excellent attitude. Stop blaming your parents, the government, your boss, your spouse, your in-laws, your color, etc. That will not get you anywhere. Esau blamed his hunger for giving up the birthright. But it was his foolishness that was mainly responsible. The Bible called him “profane.” Are you doing the right thing in the right way and time in all areas of your life? Receive that grace from today in Jesus Name. I plead the Blood of Jesus over you right now. I cancel every satanic trap sent to limit the spirit of excellence in your life. I break every stronghold of the enemy from your birth and every personal weakness, in Jesus’ Name. Begin your journey of excellence today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
