Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

October 24: Rehoboth

“Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep.  (3)  You’re going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family. You’re going to take over whole nations; you’re going to resettle abandoned cities.  (4)  Don’t be afraid–you’re not going to be embarrassed. Don’t hold back–you’re not going to come up short…. ” Isaiah 54:2-4 (MSG)

Read: Genesis 26:1-22; Isaiah 54: 1-4; Matthew 25:1-13

Beloved, I believe God is bringing you to your own “Rehoboth!” After a season of persecution from the people of the land, God brought Isaac to a place of ‘More Room.’ He said, “God has made room for us and we will be fruitful in the land” Can you claim that blessing for yourself and your family today? Oh, I am so excited about what God will do for His people in this season. You have toiled and endured many persecutions. And you have often wondered when your reward will come. Well, God sent me to tell you that your day of reward is finally here! Glory to God!! If you read Isaac’s story, you’ll find that the same people who persecuted him, came eventually to court his favor after God blessed him. Even your family will not recognize you when God is done with you. So release your faith today for “Rehoboth.”

Notice that our text has certain instructions we must follow if we want to experience more room in life. That is part of the principle of excellence. The Bible says that we should clear lots of ground for our tents. It says we should get rid of our ‘small thinking’ and think big. You see, it is the same measure that you mete, that will be meted back to you. If all you give God is a small vessel, He’ll fill it and stop. But if you give Him a large vessel, He’ll fill it to overflowing. The Bible says God will cause men to give to you good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over! Hallelujah!! That is “Rehoboth” and you are stepping into it now in Jesus Name. Amen. Remember that fear gives the devil room to work; while faith gives God room to work. So get rid of your fears today. Step out in boldness and declare your “Rehoboth” is here. Don’t hold back.  Cast your net into the deep and bring up a great draught. Thank God for the rewards of excellence today. Hallelujah!!
