Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

November 14: Anointed With Fresh Oil

“My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.” Jeremiah 2:13

Read: Isaiah 12:3; Jeremiah 2:13

As you develop a consistent walk with the Holy Spirit, you’ll find that there is a freshness He wants to bring into your life daily. Every new day is created uniquely and in order to confront the unique challenges of each day, we must tap into the Holy Spirit’s fresh empowerment for every that day. Don’t try to presume on God and fight today’s Goliath using yesterday’s methods and strength. God has some new Word and Anointing for every new day. In this age of the “instant” coffee and microwave technology, it is not surprising that many Christians’ approach to life’s challenges is “instant” and inconsistent.  We tend to give up on God, when it seems like the changes we are looking for are not rapidly forthcoming. We then go find alternative means which ‘will work.’  There is no formula with the Lord. The only way to guarantee complete breakthrough and a life of success is to be constantly drawing from the ever-flowing, fresh river of the Holy Spirit. Don’t visit the river only once a week on Sunday, camp out there everyday!  Once in a while visits, ensure that you will only have stale, putrid water in your life. Get up with excitement everyday, get into the presence of the Lord, praise Him, pray, study and speak the Word .If you do this, you are guaranteed unending victories in the battles of life.
