Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

September 7: They Shall Prophesy

“And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.” Isaiah 51:16

Read: Isaiah 55:8-13; II Peter 1:18-21

The Word of God is the most powerful force on the face of the earth. Nothing can resist that power when it is released. Everything God spoke in Genesis when He created the world, He saw. Genesis chapter one is full of the phrase “and God said” underscoring the power of the spoken word in creation. That is why Proverbs 18:21 says that life and death are both in the power of the tongue. Whatever God will do in your life must be spoken first. God has put His words in our mouths in order to plant the heavens and lay the foundation of the earth. Faith is released, and courage born when words are spoken in line with God’s word. In the same way, fear is released, and discouragement produced when we speak crosswise of God’s words. So prophesy today. When the Spirit of God is upon you, you prophesy. And when you prophesy, things happen. I see every mountain thrashed before you today in Jesus Name. Amen.
