“And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.” – II Chronicles 20:22

Praise is a powerful weapon. The Bible tells us that God inhabits (or dwells in; or enjoys) the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Praise moves the hands of God on our behalf. When the children of Israel were confronted with a great enemy, they knew victory was impossible without God’s help. You know the psalmist said (Psalms 20:7) that some trust in horses and others in chariots, but we must always remember the name of the Lord our God because that is where our help comes from. King Jehoshaphat and the children of Israel understood that. So when the enemy came against them, they began to praise God. Their praise moved God to set up an ambush against their enemy and they turned against one another! I see all your enemies turning against one another today in Jesus Name. So put on praise today. No matter what is going on around you, fear not! Praise and you will gain the victory. Take some time to praise God today for all He’s done in your life.
