“You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God.” – I Peter 1:23(AMP)
Read: Isaiah 40:6-8, I Peter 1:23-25; John 10:34-35
Every thing we see in the natural today will change. They are corruptible and subject to decay. That is why the Bible says, “All flesh is as grass and their glory as a flower that fades.” A man may seem very prosperous today but become bankrupt overnight. The system of the world is set up to make us focus on the transient, and disregard the eternal. The Word of God, however, is eternal. When that Word abides in us, it creates an environment for the immortal nature of Almighty God to work in our lives and situations. The ‘incorruptible’ seed of God’s Word creates the potential of ‘God-likeness’ in us. Just as a man’s sperm cells create the potential for another human being in a woman, God’s Word when mixed with faith inside us has the ability to produce ‘gods’ with the Divine nature of God. That means the situations in our lives must respond to that Word because it is incorruptible. That means no matter how long it takes, as long as we stand, the Word will produce fruit before the chapter is closed. I see you reigning in life from this moment.
