“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth?for thou shall break forth on the right hand and on the left?”? Isaiah 54:2, 3

What do you do when you seek to increase the capacity of any vessel to handle more than it was previously accustomed to handling? S-t-r-e-t-c-h! And that is exactly what God hears when you cry out for Him to bless you. Be careful now and know what you are asking for; because when your requests for additional blessings go up to God, what He hears is, ?Lord, I want to be s-t-r-e-t-c–h-e-d!? And He will answer your prayers accordingly. God usually stretches us and moves us out of familiar quarters in order to take us to a new level. To be enlarged comes with some discomfort; breaking out of a mold requires some measure of risk taking. Another stretch that we?ll experience if we will make progress in life is in our faith. We must be willing to increase our capacity to believe God. You say, ?How do I do that?? By spending more time in His promises and applying them practically to your life. Then you must challenge yourself to believe in the supernatural power of God to make things happen, even if He needs to overwrite natural laws sometimes to accomplish that. Then you must believe and co-operate with the angels sent to work for you, and believe in your own inherent spiritual power that enables you to do the impossible as the Holy Spirit quickens you. God?s Word promises that He will enable us to break forth on every side, but only after we enlarge the place of our dwelling. So uproot your strong chords today. Stretch your mind. Dare to believe. Take a chance and step out. Peter did not fail when he stepped out and you will not fail, in Jesus? name. Amen.
