You cannot but be amazed at the awesome achievements of the saints of old when you read their profiles. And yet none of them did anything great without faith. The Bible tells us they subdued kingdoms, obtained promises, lived righteous lives, and even stopped the mouths of living lions through faith. It is sad to note that all we have to contend with in our generation is a dead lion, and even then we fail many times. But these great people in the Bible (who lived under a lesser covenant than we do) stopped the mouths of living lions by their faith. Child of God, can you imagine how much we can get done in our times if we will learn the skill of faith?! Nothing will be strong enough to stop you if you are developed in faith. Jesus said if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we can even command mountains and they will obey. So we don’t necessarily need ‘big’ faith to do great stuff. We just need active faith that is developing and being put to use. Faith is the skill that guarantees victory in warfare and in every sphere of life. So begin to develop your faith by taking God at His Word and believing that you can do whatever it says you can do. Quit making excuses for failure. If you believe, all things are possible to you in Jesus name and by your active faith!
