Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

January 6: Priceless Satisfaction

Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your earnings for what does not satisfy? Hearken diligently to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness [the profuseness of spiritual joy] Isaiah 55:2 (AMP)

Child of God, do you hear God calling you? You know it’s sad that many of us don’t hear God calling us because we are so distracted. Maybe the things that have your focus right now are the issues around you. We can get so consumed by the things around our lives that are calling for our attention, that we don’t hear God when He calls. But He is calling you today. He is saying there is a priceless ‘wine’ from the Holy Spirit that can fill our lives with unmatched satisfaction. And we need not pay a dime for it! All God requires is that we come to Him, willing to surrender our hearts. Jesus said, “I am the Bread of life.” Anyone who “eats” of Him will never hunger again. The Psalmist said “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good!” He is indeed good and He satisfies. When you and I partake of his nature, we exchange and share intimate fellowship with Him, every hunger and need in our lives are taken care of. Personally, I have done many things in life that were not satisfying. But when Jesus came into my life, He turned it all around. He will do the same for you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
