You are created in the image of Almighty God. You are not an accident. God formed you for a Divine purpose He had in mind before the foundations of the world. You are more than a conqueror. You are a priest unto God, translated from the kingdom of darkness to manifest the glory of God to your generation. You are a winner and not a loser. Believe it, live it, speak it, write it, tell it, actualize it, and model it because it is the truth! Do you sometimes feel besieged by the opposition? Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by his constant attacks? Well, every believer does from time to time, but we are not ignorant of the schemes of the enemy (2 Corinthians 2:11.) It is not enough to recognize the enemy’s wiles. We must be able to counter- attack. We must also have a strategy for victory. There are ‘doors’ or vulnerabilities that Satan seeks to exploit in every life, but you are anointed to overcome him. Let’s go over some steps that will help us defeat him when he comes against us: (1) Identify your own ‘doors’ and shut them with the help of the Holy Spirit (2) Don’t give Satan any foothold in your life by yielding to him (3) Resist him by digging into the Word of God and laying hold on appropriate scriptures that apply to your situation. Speak them out loud and say ‘It is written…..’ like Jesus did. (4) Plead the blood of Jesus over your life continually (5) Pray in your heavenly language, stand your ground on the Word and refuse to back down. You are more than a conqueror through Christ!

Prayer and confession

Thank you, Father, for empowering me to win the victory. I am born of God therefore I have overcome Satan and all his machinations. I am more than a conqueror. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
