God seeks to reveal the things of life that will enable us to enjoy His highest blessings in our lives by His Holy Spirit. To reveal means to ‘take off a mask or covering,’ and the Lord wants to take off masks and coverings that hinder us from seeing the real deep-hidden things of life that concern us. He has already done the extraordinary work of preparing for our lives way beyond what our hearts can imagine. But the reason He made all this preparation is so that we would live in them and enjoy them. And yet in order to do that, our spiritual eyes must become enlightened, so we can take advantage of the extraordinary advantages the Lord has given us in life. “God wants to show, but He can only show those who want to know and are in the flow of the Spirit when they go to Him.” Go ahead and ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes today so you can see everything God is showing you.
