Psalms 126:1-6; Genesis 21:1-7
“Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, ‘The LORD has done great things for them.” (Psalms 126:2, NKJV)
What will our lives look like when the new thing that God is doing begins to manifest? It will be unbelievable; it will seem unreasonable, and it will seem illogical. It will feel like you are in dreamland! The new thing that the Lord is going to do is not going to be a small thing; it is going to be a great thing. It will be something that will cause things to shift around you. It will cause things to move around you; things will turn over. God will bring you to a place of crossover, a place of Passover, a place of ‘run-over’ and overflow, and even ungodly people will notice the difference, and they will say, ‘The Lord has done great things for them!” I cannot wrap my mind around it, and I am sure you can’t either. But God will be faithful to His words, and just like He did for Sarah and the Jewish exiles, He will fill your mouth with laughter! Why don’t you laugh out loud today and get some practice in?!
Prayer: Father, I rejoice in the ‘incredible’ things you are doing in my life. I’m laughing and giving you the glory!
