Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

Day 4: God’s Shalom is Mine

Hebrews 4:1-12; Mark 4:35-41; Acts 9:1-31.

“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is His treasure.” – Isaiah 33:6

Child of God, do you know that God wants you to have a stable life? Do you know that God wants you to have a consistently good life? Do you know that God wants you to have a life of joy, peace, and favor? God wants to give you rest on every side and surround you with peace. And wisdom is one of the major ways He has arranged for that purpose. When you walk in the wisdom of God, your life will not be one of turbulence and instability, but of peace and rest. Also, you must engage the wisdom of God and dislodge from your life everything responsible for creating instability and turbulence. Your health, future well-being, and success depend on it. You cannot always separate yourself from people, but you can separate yourself from the things that people do around you that cause you turbulence and instability. The Lord did that for the church. Saul, before he became saved and later an apostle, was an instrument in Satan’s hands to wreak havoc in the early church and cause terrible unsettling among the believers. However, by the agency of the wisdom of God, peace, stability, and rest were restored and God’s people advanced in their destiny. God can do the same for you today by helping you engage His wisdom at a higher level. Say it, ‘God’s Shalom is mine in Jesus’ mighty name!’

Prayer: Father, I receive your peace in my life today. Thank you for helping me appropriate your wisdom in every area of my life. I give you the glory and praise. God’s Shalom is mine in Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!
