Imparting life to the nations, one person at a time

Day 29: Hidden Wisdom for Our Future Glory

1 Corinthians 2:1-16; Genesis 45:1-28.

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.” – 1 Corinthians 2:7

Many times, in our lives, the wisdom of God is hidden and not immediately apparent in the situations we confront. Even our adversary Satan is oftentimes confused by the unfolding of God’s wisdom in our lives, because he never sees it coming. That is why the Bible says, “…Eye has not seen nor ear heard, and neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him, but these things are revealed to us by the Holy Spirit…” You need the wisdom of God and understanding so you can appropriately interpret and respond to your circumstances. If you lack understanding, you may get depressed over a situation that is destined for your glory. I once heard the story of a young woman who was let go from her job. She fought depression and bitterness for weeks but eventually decided to let God work in her situation. Not long after that, she was blessed with a new job and great favors that elevated her in every way beyond where she had been before in her previous job. Shortly after, her former company shut down and filed for bankruptcy. Now, with the advantage of hindsight, this young woman rejoices that she was let go from that former company because it has turned out for her good! If she had a foreknowledge of how things would have played out, she would have rejoiced when first informed of her termination. That is what wisdom and understanding can do for us. A situation may seem like the worst thing that can happen in our lives, and yet sometimes that is the best thing that could have happened for us! It takes the hidden wisdom of God to unravel the mystery of life’s situations and interpret them from God’s vantage point. If Satan and the princes of this world had known, they would never have crucified the Lord of Glory. Imagine how many sons and daughters God has adopted to glory because of Jesus’ sacrifice and Satan’s miscalculations! Some things are going on in your life right now that appear terrible and unfortunate, but God is going to use those things to elevate you in your destiny shortly! Let us praise God for His hidden wisdom today. Glory is right around the corner for us! Hallelujah!

Prayer: Father, I thank you for your hidden wisdom that is at work in my life. You are causing everything to work together for my good because I love you and I am called according to your purpose. I know Satan is confused and he has no answers. Thank you, precious Holy Spirit, for opening my eyes to see everything that I need to see regarding the situations in my life. I give you praise, Father. In Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!
