” For no trial has overtaken you that is not common to man. But God is faithful…He will also provide the way out…that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13 AMP
If you are dealing with adversity or going through a difficult stretch in your life right now, the Lord gave me a word of wisdom for you. Wisdom is knowing what to do when you don’t know what to do. First, whatever adversity you are experiencing has an expiration date, and your response to every difficult situation will determine if you overcome that situation and how quickly the adversity will pass. Adversity isn’t meant to last a long time, but we need to engage the wisdom of God so that His prosperity does not tarry after a season of adversity. Your greatest strength in any season of adversity is what the Bible often refers to as your “knowings.” Who do you know in your situation? What do you know about your situation? And what do you know to do in real-time as you walk through that situation? Do you know that God is with you, that He is for you, and that He can make every situation work together for your good? Think about the three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego when they were dealing with a life-threatening adversity. They said, “Our God whom we serve, He is able to deliver us…” And because of their confidence in God, the Fourth Man showed up for them in the fire! Well, the Lord is reminding you today that He is with you and for you, and He can help you overcome regardless of how difficult that situation is. Whatever you are dealing with is common, and you are able with God’s help and ability to overcome it. God is faithful to carry you through it, and He will show you a way of escape (wisdom) to a landing place of victory. The Lord is taking you to your next wealthy place, so rejoice! Count it all joy, today, let patience do her work, be bold and confident in God’s faithfulness, ask and receive by faith every wisdom you need, and then go on and walk in your victory. The psalmist said (Psalms 23) that when he goes through adversity, he walks through it quickly, but when he arrives at his wealthy place, he lays down there a long time! Develop the same mind and attitude and do the same thing in your situations of adversity. Wisdom is working for you today, and it is taking you from adversity to prosperity in Jesus’ mighty name!
Prayer: Father, I thank you for always causing me to triumph. Thank you because the victory that overcomes the world is actively working in me and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I know what to do even when I don’t think I know what to do. I know you are with me and for me, and this situation is working for my good. I give you praise, Lord. In Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!
