“…So it remained here until the time of David who found favor in the sight of God and prayed that he might be allowed to find a dwelling place for the God of Jacob. But it was Solomon who built a house for Him.” – Acts 7:45-47 Amp
There may be a long line of people waiting for the same opportunity or blessing, but wisdom will single you out and put you in a position to be chosen for that blessing. People often talk about certain earthly privileges that some classes of people have, but I have discovered that the only real privileged people on this earth are the people of wisdom. Amongst the many kings that Israel had, the one who was really privileged above all the others was Solomon. And that was because he possessed uncommon wisdom. Joseph was certainly privileged, but it wasn’t because of his race or family. He was privileged because he had the wisdom of God in his life. Out of the so many people who could have emerged from prison and been appointed to the highest office in the land, he was the only one who accomplished that rare feat in his generation. The wisdom of God is about to separate and distinguish you! Are you ready? When God wants to build anything, He looks for people of wisdom. You could be blessed and favored by God, and that is awesome. But that doesn’t mean He will assign you to build anything for Him, which is more awesome! It is wisdom that qualifies you to build successfully on this earth. Many years ago, early on in our ministry, we sat in a planning meeting for one of our new church plants. I listened keenly to everyone as they gave their candid opinions regarding a thorny issue that came up in the meeting. One of the ministers finally spoke up and took a different position that was not popular at the time, but which I recognized to align with God’s mind. That sister was the oracle of God in that meeting, and the wisdom of God separated her like it did Esther in the Old Testament. That was the night when this particular sister was separated to a priestly office in my understanding. I see the wisdom of God separating and distinguishing you today, in Jesus’ mighty name!
Prayer: Father, thank you for separating me by your wisdom. I am going higher in my walk with you. Thank you for anointing me with the fresh Oil of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for calling me to build for and with you. I receive all the Grace and wisdom you have given me for it. I give you praise in Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!
