‘Who is blind but my servant…this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses….’ – Is 42:19,22
Darkness is a plague, an evil. Wherever darkness exists, light is absent and vice-versa. Darkness is the realm where Satan and his hosts exercise rulership. That is why he is called ‘the ruler of the darkness of this world.’ Darkness is the root of every ignorance, sin, confusion, affliction, sickness, poverty and destruction. Darkness is blindness. It prevents people from seeing or receiving God’s provisions. That was why prophet Elisha prayed that the Lord would open the eyes of his servant, so he could see that there were more powerful resources and angelic beings at their disposal than the opposition that was camped against them. That servant was deceived because he couldn’t appreciate the true nature of his situation. When you have God’s light, you have spiritual jurisdiction. You can exercise your God-given spiritual authority. Let me ask you today beloved: Do you know what heavenly resources God has placed at your command? Are you aware that you are always in the majority and never in the minority because God Himself is with you (Romans 8:31)? Are you aware that the angels have been given charge over you, and they are waiting to serve you (Hebrews 1:14)? Ignorance is blindness, and you are kept from the breakthrough that has already been prepared for you until you get a hold of God’s light. Let us boldly break the yoke of darkness over every area of our lives and those of our loved ones today. Let us exercise our dominion and spiritual authority. You have spiritual jurisdiction!
Prayer & Confession:
Father, we thank You because Jesus has destroyed the yoke of darkness over our lives. We command that every satanic force that prevents our relatives (mention names if any) from seeing the light be dislodged right now in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
