“Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?” – 2 Chronicles 1:10
If you are born again and have accepted Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior, then you already possess the seed of wisdom within your spirit. It may not always feel or appear that way, but when the Holy Spirit moved in to live within you and me, He moved in with the seed of wisdom and other graces. God’s plan and desire for you is that the seed grows and produces fruits in your life. When God appeared to Solomon in the night and asked him what he could give him, Solomon didn’t ask for money or long life or health, although those would have been great blessings to be endowed with. But Solomon prioritized wisdom and asked for it. The Lord was so impressed with his wisdom in asking for more wisdom, that He said, “Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto you, and I will give much more than that. You will have so many riches, wealth, health, honor, and everything else, so much so that there will be none like you ever…” (Paraphrased.) We must ask for God’s wisdom today, every day, and keep on asking for it. We must seek wisdom by searching for it diligently in God’s Word as well as from others’ examples, writings, and instructions. Only fools gain wisdom primarily from their own experiences alone. The Bible says wisdom is too high for a fool. Don’t let wisdom be too high for you. Go after it today and every day. Reach for it with everything that you have and engage its power in your life. I see the ‘River’ of wisdom flowing out of your innermost being today. I see the seeds of God’s wisdom growing and increasing in you, and I see you possessing greater wisdom than anyone in your spheres of life, in Jesus’ mighty name!
Prayer: Precious Holy Spirit, you are the River of God’s wisdom. Flow continuously out of my innermost being today. I reach for the wisdom of God with everything I have today. And I thank you for giving me access to the highest wisdom possible for me. I give you praise Father. In Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!
