‘And their eyes were opened and they knew…and they rose up that same hour….’ – Lk 24:31, 33

God the Father is the Source of light. The Bible says He is light and in Him is no darkness at all. Wherever God is, darkness cannot exist because His light shines in the darkness and darkness cannot stand or comprehend it (John 1: 5.) The original Greek word used in that scripture is the word ‘Katalambano.’ It means to take over, seize by force or apprehend. The Word of God is telling us that when we have the light of God in us, it is impossible for Satan to seize by force anything we possess or take over any area of our lives. Hallelujah! Whenever the glory of God comes upon your life, His light begins to shine, and darkness cannot stand. So, if you are a child of God, you are a child of light and darkness has no power over you! And wherever the light goes, every good and perfect gift also goes, so we are in good company! (James 1: 17.)  The law of dominion states that light will always rule over darkness, so we can reign on the earth just as God reigns in Heaven if we walk in the light like He does. Everywhere Jesus went, He declared unto them that the Kingdom of God had come unto them. If you are a child of the Kingdom, then all the power and the glory that Jesus brought from Heaven is available to you. Where the light of God is, there can be no shame or pain or confusion or torment. So, receive all that God has for you today in Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!

Father, thank you for delivering me from darkness and giving me light through Your Son Jesus Christ. Thank You for helping me walk in your light today. I reign in every area of my life in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
