‘The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.’ – Psa 110:1 KJV
The Bible says Jesus has been exalted over all principality and power, dominion, rule, authority, demons, witches and wizards, and Satan himself. However, He is not seated there by Himself. The Bible says you and I are seated with Him on the Right hand of God the Father.
That is a place, a location, and a position from which God demonstrates His greatness. The benefits of God flow into our lives from this vantage position; the power, the might, the dominion, the wisdom, the favor and the beauty of God. In there, you will find fullness of Joy, permanent pleasures, glory, honor, ease and rest. It was reserved strictly for Jesus and those that believe in Him. You have a seat reserved for you there with your name on it. If you find joy missing, or you are weighed down with burdens and life is just an uphill struggle, then maybe you are not yet occupying your spot. Ask the Father to give you a revelation of this place. And show you how to demonstrate the authority of the Godhead in your daily experience.
Prayer and confession
Dear Father, please open my eyes. Help me to envision myself sitting at your right hand. Help me appropriate every benefit of the finished work of the cross in my life. In Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!
