‘The LORD will extend your mighty sceptre from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies.’ – Psa 110:2 NIV

If you don’t take advantage of the benefits that are available to you, life will cheat you. You and I must not blame anyone for anything that happens in our lives because we are responsible. Kings don’t blame their subjects for the things happening in their kingdom. They take charge and take responsibility. And you are a king and a priest unto the Most-High God. The Father said to the Lord Jesus Christ, “Sit down until I make your enemies your footstool.” God is going to show His Lordship through Zion, that is, you and me. You are a king and priest unto God. You have a domain, and you are expected to exercise authority on behalf of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Kings rule and gods create. Take advantage of your vantage position at the right hand of the Father today. The world around you is groaning, looking for the manifestation of the sons of God. Someone around you is craving the exercise of the authority you possess. Step out boldly and speak on God’s behalf. Comfort the afflicted, heal the sick, deliver the oppressed and give hope to the hopeless! Someone out there thinks there is no way out of their current mess, but you carry God’s authority. Exercise it. Tell them there is a way out. God can do it and you know how to help them. What a glorious advantage we have in Jesus!!

Prayer and confession

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for making me an instrument in your mighty hands today. Help me to be a worthy representation of you in all my undertakings today. Help me show someone the way to your love, mercy and grace today. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
