“And God said, Let there be light: And there was light. And God saw…that it was good.” – Genesis 1: 3
Read: Psalms 119:105,130; Joshua 1:8; Hebrews 1:1-3; Hebrews 2: 1, 4
Light was in the beginning with God just as the Word was (John 1:1). When God spoke words, light arose and pierced through the existing darkness. Every time you ‘enter’ into the Word and every time the Word enters into you, light arises and darkness gives way. That is why we need to attach greater value to the prophetic words sent our way. And we need to give more attention to the reading, meditation, and speaking of the written Word. I know it is sometimes difficult to find time. But the greatest wisdom any of us can exhibit is to make the Word of God the priority of our lives. We must not build our lives around our busy schedules. But we need to schedule the Word in our lives daily and then build the rest of our time around our Word schedule. That means instead of doing everything else and then sitting to read the Word when we are tired, we must put God’s Word first in the morning and at night. Because when God’s spoken and written Words fill our lives, then we become full of his light! We are bound to become signs and wonders on the earth as we allow God’s Word to take pre-eminence over our lives. We become a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. That was what happened to Peter when he heeded the Divine instruction given him by the Master. I see you with the same blessing of supernatural turn-around today in Jesus Name. Amen.
