Education is valuable, but not as valuable as the wisdom found in the Word of God. Experience is a great teacher, but God’s wisdom is far superior. When Jesus at age twelve years old sat among the scholars and doctors of the law (Luke 2:47), ‘all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.’ Whether you are young or older, wisdom gives you access to knowledge and understanding beyond your years. There is a vast array of knowledge that is available to us in our world today. Technology has accelerated knowledge in ways that previous generations could never have conceived. Google has answers to almost every question, and ChatGPT is on a completely different level. But have you noticed that despite all this knowledge in the world, there are fewer people today who walk with wisdom and make sound decisions than at any time in the history of the world? Jesus said, “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay or resist.” Just listen to a lot of people talk and you can see how deficient in wisdom the majority are! When Stephen, though not highly educated, stood up in defense of the gospel, the scholarly religious leaders could not resist ‘the wisdom and the spirit with which he spoke.’ There is superior wisdom available to you today from the Holy Spirit that can help you unravel the mysteries of life you may be confronted with.

Immerse yourself in the wisdom of God today and you will be a sign and a wonder in your generation. I see you rising higher!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for the superior wisdom of the Holy Spirit that is at work in my life today. I immerse myself in that wisdom and I receive the mouth and wisdom that the adversaries cannot resist. I give you the glory. In Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen!
